Velora (“the app”, “we”) is a curated gallery of live (animated) lock-screen wallpapers for iPhone. This policy explains what data the app does and does not handle. We have designed Velora to require no account and to collect as little personal data as possible.
You do not register, sign in, or create a profile to use Velora. We do not ask for, collect, or store your name, password, phone number, or contacts. The only time you can give us contact information is the optional email field of a custom wallpaper request (section 3).
When you tap “Download & set wallpaper”, the app saves the wallpaper to your device’s Photos library (after you grant the “Add Photos” permission). This is a one-way write to your own library. The app does not read, upload, transmit, or collect your photos or photo library — with one exception you actively trigger yourself: the custom wallpaper request described in section 3.
Settings → “Request a custom wallpaper” lets you ask us to craft a live wallpaper for you. If you use this feature, the app uploads to our server exactly what you submit in the form:
We use this data solely to create your wallpaper and to contact you about that request. We do not use it for advertising, do not sell or share it, and do not publish your photo. Nothing is uploaded unless you submit the form. To have a request and its photo/email deleted, email ifeychan702@gmail.com and we will remove it within 7 days.
Velora may show ads through Google AdMob. When ads are enabled, the AdMob SDK may access your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA) and collect usage/interaction data to serve and measure ads. On iOS you are first asked, through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt, whether to allow tracking; if you decline, ads are non-personalized. Ad-related data is processed by Google under its own policy:
Velora offers an optional auto-renewing subscription, “Velora Pro” (removes ads, unlimited downloads). Purchases are handled by Apple’s In-App Purchase; we never see your payment details. We use RevenueCat to validate the purchase receipt and determine whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat processes a non-identifying app-generated identifier and the transaction status — it is not linked to your name or account. See RevenueCat Privacy and Apple Privacy.
To deliver in-app content and over-the-air app updates, the app makes standard network requests (e.g., to fetch the wallpaper catalog and update bundles). These requests include ordinary technical information such as your IP address and device/OS type at the moment of the request; we use this only to operate and secure the service and do not use it to build a personal profile.
Velora is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Some wallpapers depict mild horror or stylized portraits; the app is rated accordingly on the App Store.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
